When you think of the longevity of your body, you may ask yourself, "How long can my body last with the least amount of pain, tension, and soreness while still maintaining my lifestyle?". One thing we don't ask ourselves is: "Is my lifestyle what my body is actually in need of for longevity?" 

Taking care of yourself is not just "stretching tight areas."  Some areas may be tight but might not need to be stretched. Recovery is about feeling how your body reacts to opposite end states of physical and emotional responses.

Understanding your body on this profound level bridges the gap between understanding your physically organic capabilities as well as your conscious connectivity, while grounding you in knowing that you have full control of both.
